Nestledown History
Nestledown was once owned by Mr. JC Davis who was Mayor of Carrollton Texas and owned a dry goods spot on the historic Carrollton Square.
Nestledown was used for meetings for planning red cross drives during World War II.
Mr. Davis would lease out farms where the husbands and sons had gone to fight in World War II and the women couldn't manage the task. The women would leave the farm and live in Nestledown. Mr. Davis would put farmers in their homes so that they wouldn't lose their property.
OWNER AND OPERATORS
Today it is the private residence of Sydney Smith and Matthew Scott and is used to host events for any occasion. Nestledown is operated with our best friends Matt and Tasha Mehmen.
